Umrah: what the Saudi visa asks for, and how long it takes
A pilgrimage visa is not a tourist visa with a different label. It is issued through Saudi Arabia's own Nusuk platform, and it asks for things a holiday visa does not.
Biometrics are required. You attend in person; nobody can give fingerprints on your behalf, and the appointment has to happen before the file can move.
Allow 5 to 15 working days. That is the range we see, counted from the day the file is complete. In the weeks before Ramadan it sits at the long end of it — book earlier than you think you need to.
The fee is BDT 12,892 per pilgrim, the figure published at nusuk.sa converted to taka. It is the mission's money: once the file is lodged it is spent, granted or not.

Before you book flights
Book the visa first, or book a fare you can move. A confirmed ticket does not make a visa arrive faster, and a visa that runs to the long end of its range against a fixed ticket is an expensive way to learn that.
Your passport needs 6 months' validity from your travel date and 2 blank pages, the same as everywhere else.
